Three ways to boost your data bank
If you need more data, there are three ways to get it. The one that’s right for you will depend on how much data you need, and when. Here’s a quick rundown.
Buy a top-up
Top-ups are good for when you need a small amount of data right now. Once you buy a top-up, the data will be in your data bank right away. Top-ups cost $10 for 5GB.
To buy a Belong data top-up:
Select Manage mobile or Manage data
Under Your plan, select Top up your data
Upgrade to a higher plan (even for one month)
This is good if you need a lot more data, but not right away. When you upgrade, the data will get added to your data bank at the start of the next billing cycle.
If you upgrade a mobile plan, the data is yours to keep (you won’t lose it at the end of the billing cycle). If you upgrade a data plan, your data allowance will reset at the end of the billing cycle as usual.
Upgrading doesn’t mean you’ll be stuck on a more expensive plan. You can change plans every month, so you can switch back to your old plan the next billing cycle.
To change your Belong plan:
Select Manage mobile or Manage data
Under Your plan, select Change your plan
Get a mate to gift you some
This is good if you’ve got a friend who’s also with Belong (and they have data to spare). If any of them are in a sharing mood, send them the instructions below.
To send data to another Belong customer:
Select Manage mobile or Manage data
Under Your plan, select Gift data to a friend
