If you're thinking about making a move or you're already in your new place, let Belong take care of keeping you connected to the internet.
Let us know as early as you can so that we can make the necessary arrangements and get you up and running on, or as close as possible to, your move in date.
Before you get started, it's good to consider how many people will be using the internet, which data plan is best for you, and whether you'd like to save money with a 12 month contract or enjoy the freedom of a month by month plan. Depending on the address you're moving to, we may need to arrange a technician to complete the connection so the earlier you let us know about the move, the better.
If you're already connected with Belong, you can arrange your broadband move quickly and easily online. If you're an nbnTM customer, make sure you leave any nbn equipment at your old place (but don't forget to bring your modem with you!)
Sign in to your account to move your Belong service to your new address. We'll organise the disconnection and connection for you so remember to give us as much notice as possible, as work may be required before we can get you up and running. If you are on a contract and Belong is available at your new address, we will restart your contract term once your service is activated at your new place.
Remember to take your modem with you but leave any nbn equipment at your old place.
We don't charge you anything to move your Belong service to a new address. If you're moving to an nbn area, an additional connection charge may apply if you are in a newly constructed building.
For a newly constructed building connected to the nbn, a once-off New Development Charge may apply – this is charged by nbn co to all service providers. This can be paid up front or month by month. If you're renting, ask your property manager or landlord whether they'll reimburse you for this charge.

Depending on when you move into your new home, we will always need to do some sort on work in order to activate your service. The work required depends on the technology you're connecting to and whether we need to organise a technician to do work at your address.
When you move home you can take your Belong Voice number with you, if you are moving within the same state. If you relocate to another state you will need a new number.
If the previous occupants have not disconnected their service, we'll need some paperwork from you, before the line can be legally disconnected. Once the paperwork's received and verified, you should be connected within 10 business days.
